Dr. Cassandra Randstein’s dream was
to find a plant that can sustain itself without any
interaction with another life form. This passion for
science was evident during her secondary education on
Modius in the city of Dawenze with Howard K. Jackson.
Throughout their educational career, the two were “sweet
hearts” and dated up until their final year.
Unfortunately, Jackson’s pull toward UMDA and
Randstein’s dream to become a universal-known scientist
pulled the two apart.
Randstein eventually became associated with the Robotic
Confederation. She learned of Agristan University on the
planet of Agrista and that the Confederation funded it.
Randstein convinced the Robotic Congressional Assembly
to allow a new project to begin as part of the
University. Eventually, the University’s Biosphere
became its main function and Randstein its C.E.O. and
top scientist. The breakthrough finally came and
Randstein immediately patented and copyrighted the
discovery. She ordered a television crew to begin
selling the plants before Universal Governmental
approval. When the crew’s host, Giavanzo, is
mysteriously missing, the Robotic Confederation demanded
that the Universal Council approves the project.
Randstein, always the entrepreneur, set up a great
presentation for the Agristan governor’s assistant, the
University superintendent, Universal UMDA (Howard
Jackson among them), and Vice-Overseer Hamor. Things
became a mess when the governor’s advisor was missing
after the grand tour.
Unknown to Randstein, the Confederation became a puppet
organization of Darkness. The Female Magician, Miry,
took over the Biosphere and possess the top scientist.
It was up to UMDA to save the day and remove Darkness
from control of the Biosphere. Randstein self-sacrificed
herself to blow up the Biosphere and destroyed the
drugged plants that she had worked so hard to create. |
