Balding, anorexic, with a wart under
her left eye, Misopeda was the traitor to the Anareen
people during the Eradication of Opposition. Her black
face had a thick white line beginning at her eyes to the
bottom of her cheeks, the lines of stains from acid
tears Misopeda had cried during her tortures and
mutilations by Darkness agents. She eventually
identified with her attackers and learned to use her
evil magic in accordance with the Dark Ways.
Misopeda was unable to fulfill her quota of Darkness
ships and soldiers due to the medieval conditions of
Anaree. She did make a discovery; however, during her
zold production. Requesting the highest officials of
Darkness, Misopeda was horrified when Tredar and Miry
themselves arrived and discovered that the blood of
youth enhanced the zolds. Misopeda was forgiven her
debts to Darkness and ordered to become the zold
enhancement center of the universe in which all zolds
would visit to be improved. She began the universe’s
largest child-slaughtering facility, killing millions of
