The hospitable, innocent chief of the
Bomboos, Pag unknowingly employed the witchdoctor Nerbo
to lead his tribe into the religion of Enitnatas. The
religion of Enitnatas, a form of the Dark One, engrossed
the Bomboo people of Xover. Although the religion was
unable to completely take over the Bomboos’ life, the
religious sacrificial ceremonies, of which Pag was
simply a spectator, terrified any onlooker.
Darkness’s pursuit forced a division of UMDA to hide on
the planet of Xover. The UMDA team was required by Pag
to attend a religious ceremony. When the UMDA agents
were appalled by Nerbo’s actions, they immediately put
an end to the ceremony. Confused by their actions, Pag
confronted Chris Naomi and Howard Jackson but soon
witnessed a Bomboo native revealing himself to be the
evil magician Tredar. Recognizing him from another time,
Pag ordered the arrest of the Magician, Nerbo, and all
of his priests. Nerbo was killed and Tredar escaped.
Pag openly welcomed the religion of the Superior Spirit
and worked to expel all aspects of Enitnatas. He
encouraged many Bomboos to accompany UMDA in their fight
against Darkness in the Cosmic Battle. |
