The Biosphere is part of Agristan
University, the most prestigious educational and
research facility on the planet Agrista. Agristan
University is owned by the Robotic Confederation and the
Biosphere became a goldmine overnight as many of the top
scientists of the galaxy came to work in the unique
science lab.
The idea for the Biosphere came from an ambitious
botanist from Modius named Cassandra Randstein.
Randstein worked her entire professional career to
create a family of plants that could feed, water, and
plant themselves without any other assistance from
another life-form.
The Biosphere project was ended when Darkness agent Miry
takes over the university and drugged the plants to
become wild and uncontrollable. Only when UMDA
intervenes does the Darkness occupation end and the
plants destroyed.
Because of the Robotic Confederation's immense debt,
Agristan University was rebuilt entirely by the citizens
of Agrista. Confederation influence was not present and
the university's status was never fully recovered. |
