The Robotic Confederation is a group of robotic states joined together by a group of robotic leaders called the Robotic Congressional Assembly. The Confederation originated from a science experiment on the planet Lomwip when the artificial intelligence concept was at its peak. One group of scientists on Lomwip was able to discover how to make such a machine. The robots grew in numbers and learned how to create more of themselves. Eventually, a civil war broke out between the Lomwipians and the robots. The robots succeeded in their independence from their creators and formed a confederation of small robotic states classified by model.

The Confederation continued to grow and tensions between them and other galactic powers seemed to increase. By the time Episode III occurs, the Confederation is a wealthy nation with a military that would rival any in the universe. However, the sheer size of the Confederation made it hard for the states to cooperate together. One robot was able to rise through the ranks of the robotic political arena and crown himself emperor of the Congressional Assembly, making him the head Leader of all the Confederation. He improved many things but also made many mistakes. The Confederation funded the creation of the Biosphere on the planet of Agrista. It made a deal with a mysterious Magician from an organization called Darkness that allowed the magician to experiment on the plants. As the plants continued to become more vicious, the emperor cut off their deal from Darkness. Angry at his decision, the magician of Darkness destroyed the emperor and the rest of the Congressional Assembly. For a month, the Confederation was in peril. They went into major debt as well as finding other hidden bills from the previous leadership.

Soon, a new assembly was elected. Visus, a truly a wicked robot, was willing to make a new deal with Darkness if it paid all of the Confederation’s debts. This pleased the magician of Darkness. The Confederation was then forced to perform three tasks: bring Overseer Arofax to Darkness, capture and occupy Modius, and find all energy crystals on the Modiun planet. Visus also saw to it that the Congressional Assembly was forever dismembered and crowned himself emperor of the entire Confederation. When the queen of Modius ran to the Council for help, the Confederation used its large pocket-book and even some military force to make the representatives remain neutral in the conflict. Eventually, the Modiun queen was able to get Universal UMDA on her side and took back her planet. Emperor Visus was captured and scheduled to stand in front of the Committee of Magicians but was killed mysteriously.

The major debts and losses caused by Visus ensured that the Robotic Confederation would never be the power it used to be. It slowly broke apart into small robotic states and scattered into the far reaches of the universe.
