Ocenocia is the revolutionary city
located underwater! Nearly twenty years before the birth
of Kida Kuuba, the planet of Modius was too populated.
Rather than forcing citizens off the planet, King Neffon
decided to initiate the construction of an underwater
city located in a small gulf between the Kishovian
Strait and the mainland. It took over forty years to
make.
Only the homeless people were allowed
in at first. This allowed them to have first dibs on
jobs and houses.
The city was built under a large
fiberglass dome. The walls of the dome were over a
kilometer thick. No openings were allowed in the actual
dome. People were so cautious that a law was made that
no one was allowed within one kilometer of the edge of
the dome.
The city was built on the side of a
large underwater mountain, which allowed builders to
build inside the mountain for more room. AQDA was
located on the far most side of the mountain. All
harbors and ports out to the sea came through the
mountain, not the dome. When something would want to
enter Ocenocia, that something would have to enter a
special chamber and allow huge pumps to pump out the
water until the chamber became a dry room.
Everything up on land was also in
Ocenocia. From boating, fishing, electronics, farming,
and transport devices such as cars and bikes and other
motorized vehicles. |
